Managed Hosting Onboarding
Getting started with managed hosting takes about five minutes. You sign up, choose a plan, and Legend provisions a dedicated instance for your organization.
- Sign up: Create an account at mylegend.io
- Choose a managed plan: Select a managed plan at checkout
- Provisioning: Provisioning runs asynchronously after payment and typically takes about five minutes
- Welcome email: You receive a welcome email with your instance URL
- First login: Log in to your instance and complete the in-app onboarding wizard
Sign Up
Section titled “Sign Up”Create an account at mylegend.io. You use this account to manage your subscription, view your instances, and access billing.
Choose a Managed Plan
Section titled “Choose a Managed Plan”At checkout, choose one of the managed plans. Managed plans are available for the Starter, Professional, and Business tiers. See Plans and Pricing for a comparison of the tiers.
Provisioning
Section titled “Provisioning”After payment, provisioning runs asynchronously. It typically completes in about five minutes. During provisioning, Legend creates your dedicated instance, provisions storage, and applies your license automatically via a signed provisioning token.
Welcome Email
Section titled “Welcome Email”When provisioning completes, a welcome email arrives with your instance URL. The URL format is <subdomain>.mylegend.io, for example acme.mylegend.io.
First Login
Section titled “First Login”Open your instance URL and log in with the account you created at signup. Your first login completes the existing in-app onboarding wizard, which helps you populate Legend with initial data. See First Steps with Legend for a walkthrough of the wizard.
