Legend ships in four tiers. Every tier is available for self-hosting, and the paid tiers are also available as managed hosting, where the Legend team runs a dedicated instance for you.

Tier Overview

  • Community: Free, self-hosted. For small teams and evaluation.
  • Starter: $50/month self-hosted, $69/month managed. For growing teams that need SSO, custom branding, and CSV import.
  • Professional: $125/month (self-hosted or managed). For larger organizations that need OIDC group synchronization and longer audit retention.
  • Business: $250/month self-hosted, $299/month managed. For enterprises that need unlimited capacity and full feature access.

Self-Hosted vs Managed

Self-hosted gives you full control. You run the Legend Docker container on your own infrastructure, manage your own backups, and apply your license key manually. See Install Legend to get started.

Managed hosting removes the operational overhead. The Legend team provisions a dedicated, single-tenant instance for your organization, handles backups, monitoring, and updates, and applies your license automatically. See Managed Hosting for details.
